That's what I've been!!! I want to do more with this blog thingy!!! I want it to be cute and fun to look at.....to me, it's just boring......Must learn new ways to enhance the look.....and for FREE!!!! Or, just a "little" $$........right now, it's sooooooooooo boring!!!

Ya'll want to see a few pics from the Scrap Etc. party at Patton Creek? I know Cyndi does!! lol!! I think I'll try to upload them today! I didn't get many, but, what I got will make you laugh for sure!!! Can't wait until the EVENT!!!!! It's getting closer!! That means I need to get busy!!! ha!!!

Friends!!
I feel so good right now!!! I just do!! I'm excited that I'm going to the Scrap Etc. Event.......excited that because.....well, can't get tooo mushy.....just I'M EXCITED!!! I"M HAPPY!!! I have some great friends around me. You know who you are!! If it weren't for you....well, my life wouldn't be as full. I have so much to be thankful for.....but, sometimes forget that I need to SHOW it! My life is taking another major change...moving again with my husband's job. It's tough! Has been for a while....but, now we know "where" we will be going......it WILL get better and it WILL be okay!! It will actually be great in some ways. Hard also. I'll be leaving my son in the Fall..............can't go there now!
I started this blog........not really knowing "why".....unsure. I can see it growing with me in the future..........I hope to have a fun time with it.....a time to share "me" for anyone that wants to see "me". I want to learn how to do more fun things with it!! Happy Valentine's Day today!!!!!!! I have a lot to get done today, I hope it doesn't rain ! ugh! I promised Reed that we would do the chocolate fountain tonite for dinner. Yes!! For dinner!! Well, along with the dinner!! I plan on having pork tenderloin, baked potatoes, salad, rolls and sweet tea.......then the chocolate fountain with strawberries, bananas and pretzels! Yum!!
After I run some errands this morning, I plan on sitting down at this messy space below and do a little scrapbooking!! I want to scrap the picture of the 3 CRAZY WOMEN!!! Hey, look at the camera sitting on the table......It is made from some kind of hard foam and the window in it is like 1 1/2 inches deep.....that's where you put your picture collage, or whatever. I found it on the clearance isle at Wal-Mart for $3.00!!! Can't beat that! I thought it would look cute to make a circle collage of some sort, then I could change it out every now and then. Oh well, I've got much to do today..........so I'd better wrap this entry up. One more thing......
Chris got the FINAL word yesterday afternoon that...........we ARE MOVING TO LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS!!!!! I can't tell you how much stress has been lifted from us. I know that we have a LONG journey ahead of us, but, at least now we know WHERE and we can get to working on our goal.............selling this house, buying another!!!!!! Whew!! I'm happy about it because I will only be 2 1/2 hours away from my Mother/one sister/2brothers!!! I'll be even closer to my brother Paul!! Maybe, I'll get to know my 2 great-nieces better!!! Anyhow, it's also 2 1/2 hours from Chris' Mom and Dad. It will be great to be able to go and see them more often ! The sad thing is that my son Brandon is still going to be going to the University of Alabama..........I don't know if he can live without his Mommy being away so far! ha!!!

Here we are!!! I met Kay and Melinda at the Trussville store not quite two weeks ago for some shopping and then for some lunch!!!! Brittney was so sweet to give us our very own photo shoot!!!!!!!! Thanks Brittney!! "B"!!!!! We had so much fun!! Who would ever believe that this was only the 2nd time that we were together!!!! We are kindred spirits and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

I did this layout last week. I bought the Heidi Swapp calendar and I didn't won't to throw away the flower that was part of the packaging.....so, I cut it out and used it for this layout!! This is a picture of my son Reed. He was 13 in this picture. We were taking pictures one Sunday in Spring.........He just bent down afterwards and kissed me......I'm so glad that Chris didn't just stop taking the pictures!!!

here it is, Thursday.....no, not any pictures yet. Was under the weather for a few days. Things are moving kind of slow lately. Yesterday was Chris' birthday....46! Tomorrow, we'll be heading to Tuscaloosa to check out the University with Brandon. Life goes on......Sports are about to start up again...ugh. Three boys in sports keeps you going at times! Thank goodness Brandon has his own car and drives himself to practices.....we just show up for the games! I have much to do........not enough time to do it.......sound familiar to EVERYONE!! ha!!!

1. at age 16, I worked after school cleaning an office building
2. at age 19.....I worked with a friend of my sisters, (my sis worked too)....cleaning houses! made really good money I think!!!
3. when I was 20....I started working at a Law firm doing clerical work....GREAT Pay!!! and bonus $$$$$ ....they were quite generous!!!
4. when I was 24.....worked for a Lawyer doing EVERYTHING! It was good pay....but, not as much fun as working with a group of people!!

Man! I really enjoyed going to Trussville yesterday and hooking up with some girlfriends!!! I met up with Kay and Melinda at Scrap Etc. 2 today.....did a good bit of shopping.........did a "photo" session while in the store, thanks to Brittney!! I will post those here later.
It was a gloomy day and I couldn't have asked for better company to be with. After shopping, we went to a place called Joel's to eat. Good 'ole Southern home cooking!! Kay and I ate the liver and onions!!! yum!!!! Melinda and I enjoyed some pickled watermelon rind. Made me think of my Grandmother so much! She used to can these and I loved them as a child. You don't find too many places like this Mom & Pop restaurant anymore. It was good food, not greasy,greasy like some.
Melinda had to leave and go get the kiddies from school!! (boo hoo). Well, Kay and I had some free time...so, I hopped in the car with her and we did an errand that she had on her list. Then, we went to Target and picked up her cards that she is going to be doing for the Event swap. I already had my pink cards......we found some "others" and they are sooooo cool!!!! Well, we decided that I'd give her half of my pink ones, and she'd give me half of hers! They are going to be so stinkin cute!!!!!!! We picked up a little "bling" from the $1 bin at Target. I just love that place!!! After leaving Target, we went to Michaels. OMG ! I got some Making Memories embellishments for half off. I'd wanted some of these for Christmas, but our Michaels had sold out of the ones that I'd wanted......anyhow, this one had them! whoo hoo!!!! Kay and I could really do some damage together!!!! We think a lot alike........I think we may have been sisters in a previous life!!!!!!
Oh, I showed Kay what I'd worked on last weekend. She brought some Maya Road books that she had done. OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! They are Beautiful!!!! This woman rocked these books in a BIG way!!! They were awesome! I'd like to sit down and look at them again. Brittney and I were looking at them......Kay says she was a "clean" scrapper........Brittney and I both said, uh.......NOOOOOOO!!! She really did an excellent job on them!!!
Well, we were to be headed to Little Rock as of now........change of plans. I refuse to talk about it. Mabye.......just go and scrap the rest of the day!!! Chris is home today....don't know what we'll be doing together. We do a lot of talking lately.........ready for all this "stuff" to be over. Time will tell. that's all I'm saying about that situation! It will work out!
Well, I'm so wishing that I could just push a button and voila!!! The pictures of Kay, Melinda and I will be up probably tomorrow. If I can remember how to do it!!! lol!! lol!!!
